About Us

The Sri Lankan Retinal Image Library (SLRIL) is the national digital repository of multimodal retinal imaging, managed by the Association of Vitreo-Retina Specialists of Sri Lanka (AVRSSL) in affiliation with the National Eye Hospital, Colombo.

SLRIL supports clinical education, diagnostic reference, and collaborative research. Cases include fundus photography, OCT, OCTA, and related imaging, each assigned an anonymized Case ID.

The library is a non-commercial educational asset. Images are watermarked for educational use only and must not be used for patient-identifiable or commercial purposes.

Staff from AVRSSL and the National Eye Hospital curate, review, and publish cases through the SLRIL Admin Portal.
